FOCUS Facts

The arts in FOCUS Series has successfully presented national touring productions of theatre, dance, and musical attractions for forty years. Along with the touring company productions, the series includes West Kentucky Community and Technical College Theatre and Music Department productions and visual arts displays.
Educational outreach activities include matinee performances of touring companies and WKCTC productions for regional schools, master classes in dance and musical theatre, and acting workshops with professional performers.
Children from the Neighborhood After School Program received complimentary tickets to most events.
Participating schools are provided with study guides on the internet and question and answer sessions with the director, cast and crew. Students from over 22 counties in this region from three states attend productions.

To provide quality, live performances to the Paducah community at an affordable price.
To present a diverse selection of the performing arts.
To introduce new works to the community.
To reach the youth of the community and involve them in the arts.
To provide educational experiences in the arts.
To develop a financial base to support the program.
