School - A Theatrical Makeup Workshop – October 16 at 7:00

Learn professional theatrical make-up secrets to create ghosts,
goblins and ghouls with Jack Cody and Natalya Haden, Proprietors
of Creatures of Habit. This hands-on workshop will help you
prepare for Halloween.

Studio Showcase – October 30 at 7 pm and November 2 at 1 pm
WKCTC students present the one act
play The Lottery. Free Admission. Location Clemens Fine Arts Center.
Spring
OffCentre Short Play Festival
This showcase of short plays will feature original works by WKCTC
students and local playwrights. To be considered for the festival,
plays must be submitted to Constance Frank by November 15,
2007
BodyText
This workshop will include movement training to improve
creative body expression for the stage. No experience necessary.
The workshop will be a great foundation for any performing artist.

ArtsReach
Paducah
The WKCTC Fine Arts Center, in partnership with Paducah Parks Services
and the Paducah Housing Authority, formed the ArtsReach Paducah
Singers during the summer of 2007. The program will continue
through December 2007. The chorus of young singers includes
residents of the Paducah Housing Authority and participants of Paducah
Parks Services Neighborhood After School Program. This fall, the
chorus will appear at the Vickie Winans Concert at the Carson Center,
The WKCTC Community Chorus Holiday Concert and at The Purple Haze
Concert at WKCTC. Members of Purple Haze will also conduct
a vocal workshop with the children. ArtsReach Paducah is administered
by the Kentucky Center for the Arts and funded by the Kentucky Arts
